THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE HYDRAULIC LIFTING TABLE
The Barup02 multipurpose lifter has been developed over many years, trialed and perfected by our own fitters, manufactured in Australia using our own fabrication facility in Newcastle.
It is a device to help lift rear bars, fuel tanks, towbars via different attachments to be installed onto a vehicle,
The supplied hydraulic lifting table also acts as a bench for all the tools and parts required and can be raised and lowed to a convenient height to suit the fitter.
Allows one person to fit rear bars, fuel tanks, towbars so they don’t have to interrupt other workers, two other staff helping lift the parts onto vehicle can easily turn into 5 or 10min lost time x 2 , potentially 40 to 80 hrs a year per fitter!
A small shop with one fitter and one sales staff can now have just the one guy do the job without the salesman leaving the showroom unattended.
If the parts don’t quite fit you don’t have guys standing there holding the them until it is lined up.
Less chance of damage to the accessories as guys roll it over to perform different tasks.
The rear bar can be pre-assembled, before the vehicle arrives, great if you get ahead the day before a job and looking for work for the guys.
Has a couple of adjustments to fit the most common rear bar on the market.
Generally speeds the whole process up for better efficiencies.
It also looks very professional and impressive when customers see it being used rather than a couple of guys trying not to damage their vehicle whilst holding onto the accessories.
With lifting and bad backs a major cause of time off work due to injury, this is a great tool to minimise the risk of staff injuring themselves.
We have designed it for 150KGs (tested to a 1.5 safety factor).
All parts are zinc plated and powder coated.
Your workshop may get by without this tool, but if you fit rear bars, fuel tanks or towbars just about every other day once you have had one, the guys will never want to go back to the old days.
Some fitters who say they don’t need it, but they also don’t mind asking other staff to help them lift a bar, which ultimately cost money every time they interrupt somebody else doing their job.
If you also sell bars to smaller shops with one fitter they can now fit bars much easier if they have one in their workshop.
